Our Memorable Moments

We went to have dinner with your friends at JoJo Restaurant in Oakland. It was New Year's Eve, and we were surprised to find that the restaurant only had fixed dinner menu, at $125 per person. Since it was Grace's dinner we had no choice but to stay. It was definitely the most expensive dinner we have even had, in the end we paid around $190 per person.

You need to go to doctor in the morning, so I take time off from work to accompany you. For dinner we went to San Francisco to have Thai with your highschool friends. After dinner we went to XYZ in Hotel W for a drink, and then to 許留山 to have desserts.

You had a bad stomach ache which kept getting worse, so I drove you to the emergency room at Good Samaritan Hospital at 9am in the morning. After some checks and doctor cannot find anything and you were sent home around 2pm. I cooked porridge for you for dinner.

It was Christmas Day. Your parents came down to our place and we went drinking tea at Milpitas for lunch. In the afternoon we played Mah Jong at home. They were so happy playing that we decided not to go out for dinner, but cooked simple noodles at home.

We attended the midnight Christmas Eve service at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. It was very lively and nice music, played by an orchestra, and the atmosphere was great. Before that we had dinner with DG and Joyce at Cheesecake Factory in Palo Alto.

We attended Hang and Tsang's Wedding at Carmel. It was very touching and the venue was very nice. Afterwards we took a walk at Carmel downtown before having dinner at the Pacific Edge Restaurant with 3 other couples.

Jerry organized a ski strip to Lake Tahoe and rented a large cabin which can fit around 20 people. We joined and drove there in Kendrick and Janet's new SUV. Both of us didn't go skiing on Saturday, and we walked to downtown Heavenly with Boh and had lunch there. For dinner we had hot pot, and played games afterwards. When we left on Sunday, there was a large snowstorm and everywhere was covered with snow. You were very excited and took a lot of pictures, even made a snowman.
