It was a long weekend before our house close. Early Friday morning we went to Fist American Title Company to sign the escrow documents. It was an exciting moment for us. After that we went to visit our new house, and discovered that we can actually fit a king size bed in the master bedroom. Over the weekend we did more shopping, getting the washer and dryer, and the refrigerator from Best Buy, as well as the 50" TV. We also got the speakers and surround sound system from Magnolia. At first we wanted to get the washer and dryer from Sears, but it was a really annoying experience because of the their sales people's incompetence. They don't know how to use the system, cannot spell simple words, and made us wasted two hours at the store.

We visited Ruby Hill Golf Club again, after almost one year, with Amy and Ken. We took pictures and videos of the site. However, you were really mad because of the bad attitude of the catering coordinator there.

We watched the movie The Da Vinci Code together before going to fellowship. It was a nicely made movie, though you don't like it too much, mainly because of the casting. Tom Hanks is really not a good choice.

It's Mother's Day. You did something that you rarely do (once a year?) - cooking dinner for your parents. Monica taught you to make casserole, and we added some premarinated grilled chicken. Your parents really liked it and said it's the best non-asian crusine they have ever had.

Janet and Kendrick's big day!! The ceremony was held at Memorial Church in Stanford, and afterwards we had the Chinese banquet at May Flower in Great Mall. We were responsible for the game at the banquet. We also went to their place and gave them a surprise afterwards, playing the 闹新房 games. It was really fun.

This week we went shopping for beddings. After visiting Macy's, Bloomingdales, Bed Bath and Beyond, JC Pennys over the weekend, we bought everything we need. It was a bit pricy (mostly Hotel + Calvin Klein) even after the 30% discount from Macy's. We also learnt a lot about the various terminologies, such as Europe sham, comforter, etc.
