We checked out the options for our new home at the KB Home Studio in the morning. Everything looks really nice (very similar to the model home), except for the bathroom lights... But, that's easy enough to change on our own. It's truly a blessing that all the options are exactly what we want in a house!
We arrived 10 minutes late to the contract-signing appointment, but Mark and the sales rep waited for us patiently. After walking the site of our new home and asking a slew of questions, we signed the purchase agreement. :)
Then, we revisited the model home again to take measurements and to take pictures of its furniture. After spending about 5 hours at Tuscany Hills, we went to Trudy's to pick up my wedding gown. :)
To close an eventful day, we met with Monica and Amy for Monica's belated birthday dinner.

It's your birthday today! And, your birthday gift this year is a HOUSE!!!
We accidentally stumbled into the Tuscany Hills community in San Jose and absolutely fell in love with a townhouse there. The view is breath-taking, and the neighborhood is very pretty.
After reserving a home with the sales office, we picked up Eric from Stanford and had dinner with your friends at Ray's sushi in Fremont.

I got special permission to fly home early this week! It had been 2 months since we had last seen each other...
